Sawmill Lodge is a marvellous outdoors resort on Georgian Bay in Ontario Canada. The waters of the Magnetawan River, Georgian Bay, and Byng Inlet (and this place is all of those places at the same time) feature thriving populations of many fish species, including bass, walleye - also called pickerel -, northern pike, muskie (or, if you prefer, musky, or muskey - or muskellunge), salmon, lake trout, perch, and more. Ice fishing or warm-weather fishing are endlessly rewarding outdoor activities here.

The village of Byng Inlet is now widely regarded as a "ghost town", and the area abounds with history from the 1800 era to the present.
