A long tradition of excellent fishing and conservation practices has made Byng Inlet a premiere destination for anglers.  The Britt/Byng Inlet Angler's Association has played a pivotal role in the promotion of angling and the preservation of the local sport fishery.  Your involvement is needed; please consider joining our association.

Club News Update

Over the past 17 years, the Britt/Byng Inlet Angler’s Association has been stocking pickerel (walleye) in Georgian Bay.
In 2002 we put 64,000 walleye fry into Byng Inlet, and over 5,000 - 2“ to 2 ½” walleye into the Still River.
We started 2 new derbies in 2002: a Salmon/Trout derby and a free derby for kids which was sponsored and paid for by the association. Both were a great success. We look forward to seeing you in our derbies this season.
We thank everybody for their participation in our derbies, and our conservation and restocking programs.
